Tie off all loose tails to prevent them from unraveling.  Cutting them isn’t necessary since they will be hidden. This is the Body and Tail feathers of the Turkey.  Set this aside for a moment.
In Dark Gray for head:
Ch 4 and connect to form ring. Ch2. Work 1 Hdc, 3 Dc, 11 Trc, 1 Dc and 1 Hdc into ring. Connect to beg ch and end off. Set aside for a moment and return to the Body and Tail section.
Resume work on Body and Tail Feather section.  Fold Circle in half (right sides out) so that all of the Brown stitches line up together, and all of the Gold stitches are on the other half.
Attach Brown Yarn at the Gold end of the Folded circle.  Crochet the 2 Halves of the circle together by using a Back Loop Hdc in each st.  Make certain to insert the hook into THE BACK LOOPS OF BOTH SIDES.   Work 1 Hdc into each of the stitches up to the last 7 sts.
Now comes the slightly tricky part.
Line the Head up with the last 7 sts of the Body, and tuck the end-off tail into the open section of the Body. (The Backside of the Head-piece will face you.)
With the Brown thread insert hook into the Back loop of the body section facing you.  Next insert the hook into a DC of the Head section.  Insert the hook into the Back loop of the Body section on the other side.  YO, pull through all three stitches and sl st on the side facing you. Repeat this process for the last sts to connect the head to the body, and finish closing the Body section. Work one Sl St around the head in the last st of the Body, end off and weave threads.
Starting from the brown section of the body, up the front of the Turkey’s head, Count 4 Trc. Attach Gold thread in 4th Trc from body. Ch 3, and work 1 Dc into next st-back towards the body. End off and Weave threads.
Attach Red yarn in same st as last Gold st of Beak.  Ch 3, Work 1 Trc into same st. End off. Weave threads.
